Many applicants from Pakistan believe they cannot get a Schengen, UK or US visa without stamps in their passport. That is not true. Officers decide on your whole situation: why you are travelling, whether you can pay for it, and whether you have reasons to come back. Travel history adds confidence to those points. It does not replace them.
What carries more weight without travel history
- Stable income: salary slips with matching bank credits, or business income shown in bank statements and FBR returns.
- A clean bank statement: normal activity over several months, without unexplained deposits just before the application. Read our bank statement guide.
- Ties: a job with approved leave and a proper NOC, a running business, family responsibilities, property.
- A sensible trip: a realistic length and itinerary for your age, budget and purpose.
Should you travel somewhere easier first?
A trip to countries such as Turkey, the UAE, Malaysia, Thailand or Azerbaijan can add genuine travel history, and many people do this. But it is not compulsory, and a trip made only to collect stamps does not impress anyone. If you have a real reason to visit Europe, the UK or the US now, a well-prepared first application is better than waiting.
Mistakes first-time applicants make
- Asking for a very long trip, such as the full 90 days, without a clear reason.
- Borrowing money into the account just before applying.
- Copying an itinerary from the internet.
- Using fake or "dummy" bookings that cannot be verified.

Travel history na ho to bhi visa mil sakta hai. Aamdani, saaf bank statement, NOC aur wapsi ki wajah mazboot honi chahiye. Sirf stamp ke liye safar zaroori nahin.
